Hand-code all the way user added image (I always use editplus)

But if I had to make a choice... it would definately be Dreamweaver... (this doesn't f**k up your code completely like Frontpage or GoLive)

1. NUTS
2. or have to much time on your hands user added image

dreamweaver all the way - it makes every day tasks sooo easy - and you can always edit the code by hand if you need a few adjustments user added image

I simply LOVE frontpages 5 pages of extra code it creates just for the shear hell of it!

If I see anyone actually pick it - They will be banned user added image

Frontpage kicks ass, no questions about it. Out of those choices, i would choose FP. But i must say the BEST tool for making web pages....

Hand coding is the best way to go. But when i do use frontpage, i always take 30 seconds to get rid of the little bits of extra code it makes. There isn't much. But the added 30 seconds if nothing compared to spending 4 times as long in dreamweaver.

Yup yup, hand coding all the way, but if you need a proggie, FP is the way to go.

Hehe...have you ever exported tables from MS-Word as HTML?....*shiver* Dreamweaver is pretty much the way to go as it allows you to code the way you're most comfortable, hand-coding or wysiwyg. I mostly hand-code in DW but there are certain features that really save a lot of time when it comes to advanced layout (wysiwyg DHTML layers, advanced tables, etc.) and just general coding (code snippets, integrated ftp system between local/remote sites, etc.) Code cleanup is a snap also.
