This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
how do smooth out a polygon model without converting it into a nurbs or subdivision surface. i keep converting but i would love to know a better way to do it.
Hi,
Under 'Edit Polygons' there are 2 options one is 'Smooth' the other is 'Smooth Proxy' (where you can specify the amount of smoothing by making a duplicate, and editing a mesh)
If of course you just want to give the illusion of smoothness without increasing the number of polys, then you could use the smooth normals command. Edit Polygons > Normals > Soften/Harden
