First try

I know it's simple compared to most of the stuff you see here on this site, but I just wanted my first completed model to
be seen so when I'm better Hopefully
you all will see a difference.
Maya is so cool. so much to learn.

Anybody have any inspirational advise?

only bit of advice is more detail, it's a good start to 3d in general and I can see what you wanted to achieve and i think you've done it. But you should pay some attention to the large flat surfaces and think about how they can be imporved. Make it look like it's been used e.g. give it bumps and scratches etc.

You say it's a finished model but you also need to think about things like shadows, composition etc etc. (what i'm saying is that there's still loads left to do on it even for a simple model user added image) just depends on how far you want to take it.

But well done on getting something finished, keep practicing and experimenting
