path clone?

hey everyone,
i'm trying to make a corrugated pipe hose type object that follows a path, but i'm having problems finding the correct tool for maya to do it. i know in lightwave there's a tool called path clone (make curve, make object, path clone to duplicate object along the path), but i can't find anythign quite like it in maya aside from duplicate (which has no path type option). anyone know any plugins/built in tools that i can use to do this? thank you.

the easiest way to make a tube-like object is with the Surfaces > Extrude command. Make a path curve, create a profile curve, and then you use that command to extrude a surface along the path in the shape of the profile (a circle in the case of a tube). You'll need to play with the options. I usually put the 2nd and 3rd option to the far right choice in the option box (don't have it in front of me to tell you what those options are exactly).
