This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
I'm trying to texture this mini putt thing with an astroturf type of look.... In any case, the bottom left corner of the image is the picture file that i;m using as my blinn shader...
But, when I apply it to my model it looks quite wierd.. I think it is becuase of the way my thing is modeled.
Any ideas how I can make it look normal?
if its polys you probly need to get the UV map straitend out.. shouldn't be to hard on that.. if its nurbs you will have to reparamiter the U and V sections.. theres a tutorial I know that will show you how to do that..
Thanks for the quick answer...
Its polygons... It was made from an cv curve extruded to polygons... Then I used fill hole to create the top and bottom...
The top right is the UV texture editor...
There is no projection applied... I tried it quickly but it didn't make much difference.
