extrudeing problems

whenever i try to extrude multiple edges or faces all the faces or edges go in seperate derections...

what can i do to correct this problem

Ok you need to go to
polygons/tool options/ keep faces together

If you only want the option for the one extrude operation (which you almost definitly don't) you can also go to the channel box and replace "off" with "on" in the keep faces togerther box.

I got the same problem, but checking 'Keep Faces Together' doesnt make a difference.

Im currently attempting the Cartoon Dog tut, and I would appreciate any help.

Could u also tell me what the extra blue handles are for on the face edges? I cant seem to select them and I dont know how they got there.

OK no problem. Worked it out for myself user added image

If anyone is interested, the answer to my problem is: you have to be in global mode by clicking the little blue circle on the extrude tool.

Simple as that user added image
