Okay i am coming to the end of my throne room slowly... i couldnt work on the 3d aspect of the short but developed more on the story and the storyboard.. 1 have a 30 frame story board yet i am planning it to be around 100 frames anyway here is the latest room pictures but pls heavy critique me.Rest of the images and story are at www.cgthink.com

That looks pretty cool, may i ask yhow you made the spiral in the pillars?

And i thinkt he sky might be a little too pink.

Spiral Column

A circle(almost) was made with curves i think around 8 cvs. then i moved up one grid all cvs evenly so i had a spiral with depth then just extruded the curve with a circle. Duplicated(on Y axis) the extruded surface with X times that would leave no gaps.
