Menehune New Character concept

Well been wanting to do a more cartoony character for a while now and came up with this little guy based on Hawaii's, mythical trouble makers the Menehune. He should be a lot of fun to model and animate.

let me know what you think....

thanks

Kurt

Cool stuff. I like the concepts nose and narrower forehead a bit more than your current model, but nice work nonetheless.

Thanks mate... the model is pretty much done, i still have a bit more research to do on some items he might wear. Texturing and binding is going to be a pain, hes one solid peice of geo except the skirt. Might give him a neckals to have his head seperat.

Also trying to come up with a side kick for him but Hawaii dosnt have much in the way of cool animal life.

How about when you've completed the model, then break it into pieces and map them separately. Then re-attach all and stitch the UVs... or something user added image
