This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
face's are a cool test of skill. The chin is jutting to fare out and the lips are pinched. Ear could be brought up some on the side of the head. You might try a difrent color besides blue for the temp shader. If it was closer to skin it would make it eazyer to see detail that people are use to looking for. Can always change it back to blue if you like.
Seeing your ref pic's if you are working with them will also help. That way you don't get something useless like the chin is jutting out. when it dose for real on the ref..
From a readers' Q and A column in TV GUIDE: "If we get involved in a nuclear war, would the electromagnetic pulses from exploding bombs damage my videotapes?"
verticaly, but on second though if you just move the lips a bit more twords the back of the model, along with the chin, it should take care of that pinched look..
a nother way to put it.. the curves on the sloops leading up to the lip are to steap.
main thing I see now is just the ears.. bring the ears and jaws a little forward. Would gess at about a little over 1/8th the distance from the back of the head to the tip of the nose..
after that thin it gets in to the gray area of how you want her to look.
Keep at it.. all models get tweeked.. LOL and your sticking with it.. thats a good thing.
LOL Thanks Pony......I am working on the dress right now...I will put a wire frame up with my concept art too.....I am gonna be a bit busy so bear with me....
...tongue tied and twisted, just an earth bound misfit, I.
and I am having a small problem.....I accidently saved the face in SubD mode and I can't get back to Polygon without ending up with a million faces.....arrrrrgh!!!
