I’m trying to merge two edges together that are part of the same geometry and I get the Result: polySewEdge6 message but it dosen’t work :bandhead:….any help please. [pic attached]

I usually have better luck merging vertices rather than edges. If that doesn't work, make sure the normals are pointed in the same direction.

I don't think it would be the nornmals. When the normals are fliped from each other and you merge the edge it just twists one of the faces.. at least thats how it aways dose for me.. (grrr)
Try merging the vertices like mike says though. if that dosn't work thin see if you have anything wierd like duble edge or something.

Tried vertices at the same time as edges. I get the result conformation but no actual result.

Make sure you increase the Distance setting in the Merge Vertex options box.

Yes, a distance of 0 will result in nothing happening.
