cps issue - odd creases

hey everyone,
i'm having a problem with cps... here's what's going on.

i create, say, a cube prim. cut it in half, delete 1 half and am left with other half. run cps on that half and then set mirror and stitch about x axis, no world tranformation and all that other junk off for the connect translate/rot/ etc.

all looks well but if i try to extrude a face, i get these odd creases in my model when i do extrudes. i'm not sure what could be causing it, does anyone have any suggestions?

Try adding and deleting the vertx where you want to extrude face, because I think you get this effect by having 2 faces next to eachother where you extrude ( not very sure though ). Playing around with the vertex and edges is always a good idea, try moving them and try extruding other faces on the object, do they react the same?
