SHREK 3... ????

i was watching cnn news and at the bottom a note poped up saying that Pixar is already in the works for shrek 3. wow, Shrek 2 hasnt hit the theaters yet and theyre get ready for the 3rd movie. Guess theyre pretty sure the moneys gonna flow in.... hmmm why not.

I'd think that unlikely, considering Pixar has nothing to do with Shrek 1 or 2. user added image

Also, they've had nothing but success using their own stories and characters, so I wouldn't think they'd use someone else's IP.

look at 'The Matrix', they've created 2 movies at the same time,... and the LOTR, 3 movies... I don't think it would be so uncommon anymore, and it's easyer that way,.. face it, you have everyone and all the tool at hand, why not?
I gues "the Shrek people" took the same route... :p

Pixar have nothing to do with Shrek. It was made my Dreamworks.

I wouldn't be suprised if Dreamworks do make a 3rd.

I would think that they would wait to see how the seond one does now before they even consider about making a third one because if no one likes the second one or doesn't do as good of a job as the first one did, then i doubt they would make a third one.
