Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.
Hello, I have a problem with beveling edges. I´m new in maya, before I using 3d smax. There I modelled a lot of cars (my favourite modelling). When I choose maya I dont like a function of beveling there. For me it is very very useful tool beveling. But maya creates a bat edges when i modeling and almost every corner i must handly repairing. Merging vertices ect.. Where is problem?? Thanks...
well i believe the problem is maya itself, who has a notoriously bad bevel function. Im sure there are scripts out there that do it better...but im not sure which ones, if you find one let me know : )
Men, maya6 has the same wrong. Perfect 3d program and he can´t bevel edge. Max has perfec poly model tool like inset (bevel) ect...It is very useful. I choose CPS tool not bed (perfect is mirror and stitch) but basic poly modeling in maya is little gauche. Something sort out stadard extrude edge but it isn´t exactly inset. I dont understand it. Maya6 can´t perfect bevel edge....Did you anybody see good tutorial on lamborghini morceleago? Realy perfect modeling in Max. But I still hope that My software change to MAYA will be in future useful.. Thanks..I wil soon post you my love (mercedes sl tuning sing CPS tool).
