Elf Pilot

This is a character I'm working on for my finishing project in school. at the moment she still needs hair and a body but I would love comments on her user added image

that´s a fine model you have here. topology somehow looks too clean for me, but you did very good work on her. you have a good feel for proportion. what´s in evidfence for me is the nose is a bit too high or maybe the mouth is placed a little to low. shape of the cheek is very cool but maybe a bit oversubscribed. upperlip compared to the lower lip too thick, cause usually gthe lower lip is thicker than the upper lip. the nose is very well modeled! and the neck in context to the head is awsome feminine!

good work!

everything starts and ends in the right place at the right time.

Thanks for the feedback!
I wanted her to be a bit extra perfect since she is supposed to be an elf, but I knew there was something not really right about the face, I just couldn’t put my finger on it...Thanks for pointing me in the right direction user added image
Now I just have to decide if I should change it or leave as it since most of the scenes she is in don’t have major close-ups…
And my teacher is already complaining I spend too much time on minor details (I just cant help it)

well, this extra work is sensable I would say. but if you have to go on I would agree with your teacher not to spend more time on things which have been done quite good. you will do another model and then next time just do it better than now. for this one I'd say don´t get lost in microCorrections, cause you will never be satisfied. but that´s also a good sign in my opinion.
