My first Robot

This is the first actual robot I ever made, which I am still working on. It's sort of a scouting robot used for recording recording images and motion. It was in PLE version, so sorry about the background. I'm trying to think of a good scene to put it into. I was sort of thinking to put it in a vent shaft scene.

I'm open for crits and suggestions, as I am not too good with the shaders or modeling yet. user added image

The only thing that really bugs me with this is the way the shoulders stick through the elbow joints. Apart from that nice job.

Thanks for the comments guys! Yea, I did kind of mess up on the shoulder and elbows. I rotated the big pentagon-shaped bolts on its elbows 90 degrees. Now it looks better

Thanks for noticing!

Thanks Vedic! You should post it when you're complete. Hehe, I'm still trying to think of a scene to place mine in. :p

I have post my robot in thread "strange world".

For background, what do you have in mind? is it somewhere on earth or another planet?

I was thinking probably on another planet. Maybe looking like it's in some sort of stealth mode...

I think I've been wracking my brain for way too long on a background for this thing. I'm going to put this one on hold for a while, and in the meantime, work on my new jet model I call the barracuda user added image
