Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

It could use some detail. But then again you said you were new so practice makes perfect. It would look really good with a texture
and you could use it for a game because the polycount looks pretty low.

Yes, it looks very similar to the head McKinley used in his 3-point lighting tutorial. I havent really seen much about his work lately, hardly any tutorials or posts. Hmmmmmm, thats odd.
