Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Rigs

I am an old pro when it comes to computer building, and in that biz, the computer is the "Rig".... so in Maya, or any 3D progs, what is Rigging?

A "rig" in maya, is the skeleton, and controls for animating. "Rigging" is the process of getting the model ready for animation.
