Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
i understand the differences between smooth and rigid bind, but not how to use the edit membership tool for smooth binds. or are you not supposed to?
i have a model of a hand, and when the joints move, sometimes the skin on the next finger over is also effected. if it was rigid bind i know how to use the edit membership tool to fix it, but how do you do the same for smooth bind?
