how to save output file in png alpha supported format

hi,
i could output the rendered scene and save it in PNG format, could i know how to save it in PNG with alpha supported format? like what we could do in 3d studio max?

I found no way, but I´m no pro. you could use targa instead and convert it later with photoshop or any other program.

Tiff does Alphachannel too I believe...

Though I personally use Targa because you can then string them together in Quicktime Pro to make a movie with an alpha channel (that can be imported to after effects).

i made a little bin and save it in targa then using the paint shop pro to convert it into png, wow... nice trick!! :attn: :attn:

i am using opera, and it shows those alpha channel

but IE doesn't seem to support this user added image :hug:
