trouble with marking menus

somehow i do can't activate marking menus with RMB. do i have to activate it somewhere in preferences or do something else?
i have mac 10.4.5.
os x tiger.
maya unlimeted 7.0

any tip would be nice.....

RE-markiing menus

it's been a while since I last veiwed it, but if I remember rightly
you don't use the RMB but instead you have to pick a hot key
or hot key combination then make your selection from the menu using the mouse button, isn't that how it works?, can't remember, but have a look.

tnx guys for efford.
i've bought mouse with 3 buttons and problem was solved. first i erased old maya prefs and then run it again but working with new mouse. now it's fine....
