Renaming joints

How do i rename joints? Also how do i add FBIK labels to somthing with more then 5 fingers and at the end of the fingers are little pincers. Obviosly there are no FBIK labels for that so how would i make them?

rename

if you select the joint with the channel box open click where it says joint7 or what ever joint number it is.after you click on it you should be able to write in that box to rename it.

Thanks! but how do i label them so that motion builder recognizes them and i can use FBIK on them? i cant use the regular FBIK labels becuase the fingers are weird..
