Starting an Aircraft! whats the best way

Hi everyone,

I thought Id start to make a plane of somesort, i think im thinking more of a BAE-146 or a 747, but im not sure what the most efficient way is. I was thinking polygon plane and extrude edge to get the main shape and then Sub D @ the end.

What do you reckon?

Thanks for any help

Regards

polygon cube might work better.

there are so many ways and approaches to modelling, everyone has a differant approach like any art. it is a matter of blocking out the model first with the final outcome in mind, how you do that depends on your experiance and preferance.., EXPERIMENT and you cant go wrong, and if you do go wrong, when you fix it you just learnt something new user added image

take it easy and life will be easy
