blender to MAYA

hey guys
how can I do to export blender files to maya?
I try export .3ds and .obj, but doesn't work.

What happens when you export .obj files and then import them into maya?

the blender file has 1.2mb
when do export to .obj or .3ds, the file takes with 50bytes
so...maya open the file, but not appears. =(

How strange, is it particularly complex scene/geometry, i am going to try some exporting from blender later so shall let you know how i get on and see if i can find any problems/solutions.

blender's interface is totally wack... i dont know why people still use it
