Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Duplicating issues

Hi, I was just doing a tutorial, wich learns you how to make a podracer engine, all went well, untill I had to duplicate turbine fins, along an axis, It did not dupplicate right!

This is before duplicating, this fin, should be duplicated along the Z axis, so the fins duplicate around the engine thingy.

But when I duplicate it, this is what happends:

And I did exactly what the guy in the tutorial said.
Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?

press the insert key to move the pivot point of your fin, then holding down c and using the middle mouse button, curve snap the pivot point to the apex of the turbine head. Once the pivot point is central to the turbine it should duplicate correctly.
