How to make shadows in video.

Ok i faced a major problem. My previous video was made with a rabbit who cast shadow on mine Video shots..
I just used " Usebackground" material and everything works out.

But now with my scene setup the usebackground is not working ... Any ideas how to make those shadows cast on mine jacket and not to render the plane... I've tried a lot of settings but nothing seem to work ;/

Here are some screens with the scene and what i want.

Ahh, so are you saying you want to render the little figure and its shadow on the plane, but not the plane itsself so it looks like the shadow is on your jacket?

yes. If I attach the image sequence to my camera it will do the job but without attaching how it is suppose to work ... ?

Anyway i just made the shadows in After Effects. They look just fine...

But still wonder how would you guys do that ? Without using the background shader user added image

I would just do it all in post...do all the render passes (including a shadow pass) and just comp it all together (minus the actual plane) over the video footage in AE.
