Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

nah mate not if its an attack ship....Blackhawks are really just wheelbarrows for troops mate..though they are nice. Maybe a top hatch behind the cockpit? I cant see on there? Looking good man...you going to put it in a scene?? Sorry mate its been a while since I have visited this thread, I forgot what you intended...I will retro read tomorrow mate.

didnt think about landing gear when i designed this, so its been a bit of a struggle, got to somhow shoe horn them in somwhere!

The texturing is looking nice Paldav and I agree some bevels would improve the way the edges are catching the light.

Cheers guys

This model has been giving me a christmas headache! i seem to have lost the silluette i wanted and the whole model has slowly been changing shape from my original idea.
After much thought i broke out the scale tool!!

somtimes its better to just be direct. I am much happier with it now and have started beveling edges and laying out U.V's ...full steam ahead, hopefully
