text title dissolve

does anyone have good tutorial link for title dissolve where the letters seem to blow away with a wind?

You'll probably want to use something like after effects for this not Maya.

This is just an idea to get you started, it may work, it may not. Never tested it. :-)

Use nDynamics - I think if you make the text as a nCloth (changing the preset to a stiffer material will work best), then change the wind direction, noise, wind speed etc in Nucleus after creating nCloth.

But yeah, I think After Effect will work better for Text stuff.
