MARI question

Hi Guys,

Is there a way to import a premade texture in MARI and apply it , just like how you would apply it in Maya? ( instead of using the paint through brush).
I want to import a normal map and use it as a guide to paint my diffuse channels...

Hi Honest
What kind of computer do you have then? With MARI it's mostly the GPU, I used to have a quadro in my system, but I recently bought a Geforce 580 GTX card ( more VRAM, more CUDA's etc), this really works well

Thanks Jay, yeah those files are mostly accesable through the help menu within MARI as well.

For some reason the normalmap isn't displayed in the uv viewport..

The last computer I used at work was a dual-quad core 2.8 GHz machine, with 24 gigs of ram, two Quadro 4000's, an SSD drive, and a fibre network card... I miss it. user added image
