Special Duplicate

I have searched a few dozen threads, and have not found a solution. If it has been covered, please forgive me

I have been creating a 3d human model, and using Simple Duplicate along each step to visually check it. Now when i Hit special duplicate, I get a 2d image all at the right center points, and facing the right way.

user added image deflated balloons suck.

Thank you very much. I already started over twice because of the issue I was having. Last one was nearly done. The mesh>mirror geo works great!

Mirror works great. For the duplicate special have a look and see if you did not accidentally set the z axis scale parameter to 0.

To fix your duplicate special issue next time you open duplicate special option reset the tool. You most likely have something set that is causing the verts to collapse along the z-axis.

It's always a good habit to open tool options and reset them because it's very easy to forget something you may have done earlier and then you find yourself chasing your tail.
