Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Mess in between keyframes

Hi,
I'm creating game character movements. When I set rotation key frames of my "hip control" in between frames are messed up. Two problems happens now:

1 If I copy keyframe "1" and paste it in "10" from 1-10 I get rotational movements while it should get none.
You can see it in picture one.

2 When I work for further character movements, and rotate object slightly for the next key frame, rotation values inverts. For example Y -50 becomes something like 61, while I want -55.
This way I get messy object transactions in between key frames. Picture two.

You might have to move the keys in the graph editor manually, and adjust the tangents. Select the keys and either put in the value you want or shift MMB them down with the move tool.

I found solution I think.
In rotation tool options I set "rotate mode" to local, and pivot to "object".
Now when I rotate, values increases to "correct" side.
