Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Geometry/viewport/perspective problem

Hi, I have a strange problem with how the geometry is displayed... I thought it was a glitch in the viewport of Maya, but once exported to FBX format and imported into Unity, the geometry was displayed in the same way, so I assume it is something related to the model.
I didn't find any information anywhere, also because I didn't really know what to search.
Some of the faces are shown even if they are behind other parts of the model...
I'll attach a few pictures here.

Did you make the geo youself? Or did you download it from the web?

If you upload the scene file i'll probably be able to tell you whats wrong with it.

I noticed that the outtransparency of all your textures are connected to the transparency of the respective lamberts. I can see that you need the transparency on the grass and gate shader but do you need it on the shaders of the rubble and walls?
I broke the transparency connection on the wall and rubble shaders and then the walls/rubble displayed correctly.
