Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Creating a pipe(cable) that would connect 8 pillars

Hello,

I have a problem creating a cable car ( like a thin pipe or wire) that would connect like 8 pillars.
The problem is that the pillars are situated are different heights and also are not in a straight line.

Could someone help?

Thanks!

You could try using the cv curve tool to place a curve that connects your pillars. Then create a curve like a circle for the profile of the cable and use surfaces > extrude to go along it.
Otherwise, a screenshot might better explain what you're trying to do.
