Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

A Question About Autodesk Subscriptions

So with Autodesk offering some great subscription options I am curious about one thing I can't seem to find. What happens when your Autodesk subscription expires or you cancel it? Can you still use the installed software? Or does it become unusable. I would imagine you just don't have the license anymore but I would like to know before I delve into purchasing.

I'm pretty sure you can only use the software while you're paying for the subscription. I'm not a big fan of the "rental" model that everyone seems to be going with these days, but I guess there's not too much choice in the matter.

Once the sub runs out so does your legal ability to use it, don't know if it will even still function. As of early 2016 (I think around February) , subscription is going to be the only option.

Yeah, that doesn't sit well with me either.

Well that's what I'd like to know. I mean, I would be surprised if that's how it worked but it would be good to know.
