This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
Hello there,
I don't know if i'm on the right topic; and i apologize if i'm not...
So i'm encoutering a curious problem during the blocking animation for my student short movie.
I explain you :
I have a little guy character. I've made some blenshapes, some of them are like for example "scared" so he has his mouth quite open. I have skinned the teeth and gum to the jaw joint, in that case when he opens his mouth the teeth are correctly following. BUT when I activate the "scared" expression, the gum&teeth stay at their position. So what I've done was to set a drive and key on them. It's perfertly working.
The problem appears in my scene blocking animation. The scene is the surrounding, and have 4 imported reference whose my little guy. So i was animating him, and suddenly the gum&teeth started to move across his face! There are not keys on them. I've tried to put the same keyframes on the guy scene reference to know if it cause the same problem, but it worked fine. It's only in the blocking scene that there's this mistake...
