Rendering in passes

Hey guys.. just need some help!!!

It been like 2 years since I had to render in passes. My animation has paint effects and I know that the paint effects are lay on last. If I just do a regular render the paint effects are on top of the ogre...

I just need to know how to set up the passes again.. so the paint effects dont lay over the character...

Thanks guys....

Add each object(s) you want a pass of in thier own RENDER layer.

Then, in the render globals, go down to Render Layer / Pass Control, and there you can controll what is rendered whenuser added image

Check the docs for more detailed infouser added image
