This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
I have made some progress on the tire today,
but its stil alot of work left,
as you can see its about 3000 faces and im going to
reduce it to about 2000-2200.

I have a question, is it better to model this car in polys then convert to subD, or just make hard edges and then smooth it? This is my first big project.. and its seems difficult to get very hard edges with smoothing.
can anyone help me?
