root rigging problem

hey guys

i have got a problem with my root joint on my character rig, whenever i move the hip control it moves the rest of the body but not the root joint

i've tried grouping the root joint and parenting to the hip control but then it goes the other way around meaning the root joint moves by itself but the rest of body wont go with it

any help appreciated! thanks

hey mate try
-make sure everything is parented to the root joint
-freeze transformations
-then reset your contol rig

give thes ones a try but just another question
did your root joint have this problem before
you set your control rig or after

hey thanks mate for your help but I already just made the rig again and it works fine now so not too sure wat it was but yeh everything was parented to the root, i think there was just some constrain i didnt do or something but oh well thanks tho appreciated ^_^
