This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

All in the title and it's driving me insane. Working with mila materials and the lookDev window is being such a fickle PITA. Maya will just stop responding seemingly at random points when using this new feature and it's done it like 4 times in a row now and I almost threw my mouse at the screen. Has anyone encountered and solved this?

It hasn't been stellar for me, but I've been trying to work with Renderman, so that's had it's own challenges. Haven't really had any freezes that I can recall.

Most other features so far haven't been an issue but wow is the constant hanging when using Hypershade holding me up. I already know I'm going to have to call Autodesk /cry
