Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Reflect EVERYTHING across a plane.

In a momentary slip of concentration, I constructed my entire scene in the mirror image of how I intended it. I have a sprite which is animated to move counter-clockwise, if you look down the Y axis. I need it to be moving clockwise. I can't just change the direction of motion, because then the background context wouldn't make sense. I need to reflect absolutely everything in my scene through either xy or yz mirror plane. Effectively, multiplying every x-coordinate by -1. (I think). Has anyone any idea how to do this?
Thanks in advance.

you just said it yourself. Multiply everything by -1 in the correct scale direction. Then freeze transforms so you dont have any negative scales.

Thanks! Well that's great to know it is possible, but I've still no idea how to go about carrying out the transformation. Could you lead me through?
Cheers.

a script to control the channel box will sort you out. How many objects are we talking here?

Not many objects, actually, but I have a sprite following a motion path which gets very complex. I'm completely at sea when it comes to scripts. Unless someone is willing to write one for me, I'll just have to put up with it.
Thanks all the same.
