This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Texture

Hi all.

I have a problem. I cant find where I can choose a texture, jpg or some other file to put it on my objekt. Can someone give me some tip, lesson, or a good tutorial.

go into hypershader and choose blin lambert or whatever you need then open up the atributes and and the color, select the squatre then in the menue select file.

Thx dragonsfire. But the bump, its hard. I have worked in 3D studio and Lightwave before. Could you give me a tutorial or something?

Well usualy I use the origonal and turn it into a grey scale,and use it as the bump map, but it depends on what you are trying to acomplish.
