Upgrading to Dual

Well after much debate and research, I decided to upgrade to a dual.

Choosing which setup to settle on is extreamly difficult. I'm hoping that some of you guys can help.

On the Opteron side:

- 2x Opteron 244
- 2x 512 ECC REG PC-3200 DDR RAM
- ** Tyan Thunder K8W

** The motherboard normally is pricey. But My friend is willing to trade me a spare one he has in exchange of some cash + my current A7N8X-E DLX and the RAM.

If I went with Xeon:

- 2x 2.8 ghz 800fsb Noconas
- 2x 512 PC-3200 DDR RAM
- Asus NCCH-DL

I have a 40gig and a 60gig hard drive I'll be keeping from my current machine along with the optical drives, a 520w power supply and my video card.

I'm using Photoshop alot for high res image editing and texture creations.

I use Maya often on my spare for modelling but will eventually get into 3d max.

Let me know what you'd recommand and thanks ahead of time!
