Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
A friend of mine asked me to make a introduction movie for him after seeing mine and here its the first shot which took up to 2 hours of render time... i hate to think how long the whole movie will take but I told him thats his problem
thanks, I cannot upload wire right now. I had to travel to another town(if it can be named like that) and rent a room at a hotel. Its kinda expensive and that moves me to tears. I am all exhausted, destructed, smacked down, beaten up, discouraged, faithless, my feet are worn out and ache terribly and so forth and finally I found an INTERNET CAFEEEE YES! Tomorrow Im gonna be english-examined which is required before I set foot in english soil next month. HAIL TO ENGLAND! (I hope)
That's a lot of duplicating... and why does it take 2 hours to render!? If you have raytracing on then you might want to turn it off or optimise it so that only metallic objects actually recieve rays.
The picture is ok but nothing too special, sorry :o
:bandit:
Alan
its not too special indeed. as long as a corridor in a spaceship could be special anyway I have never been interested in space crafts at all but cant tell you why I built that:p
