Texturing issues

So i made a sword model, and it got quite complicated at some places.

Made the different pieces in polygons and stitched them together, and then converted it to sub-d's.

Now i wonder, how am i gonna texture it?

very little experience in that department, so if anyone got any nice ideas, i would be thankfull =)

edit: and the spiderweb looking piece is a seperate part ^^

try using the uv coordinates, and then sending it to photoshop, then u can apply texture(if u dont kno how to do that)

download mike's tutorial on that :

https://www.mtmckinley.net/

from there, go to tutorials, and then modeling, go down and find polygon or nurms texturinguser added image
