making an object vanish

Hi, I'm trying to make an object gradually vanish. Is there a quick, simple way to do this, or do I have to key a bunch of attributes like transparency, specularity, etc. individually?

1 possibility

I'm not sure if this is best way to do this, but I think you're on the right track. I tested on a simple blinn and I had to key transparency and eccentricty but only those in order to make it disappear. Really not a lot of work, four keys total.

Thanks! That worked pretty well. How would you make the cast shadows disappear gradually as well?
