Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

I think that its teeth are too big...and they need to be veeeeery white...

Well, I tried to parent a volume light to an old project's cube.
That worked a little...

just make the antenae a blinn material, then go into its attributes and you should see glow in one of the collapsed menus, just uncollapse it and there should be a slider. Slide that and render the image until you get it about as much glow as you want..

thats easy, all u have to do is select the object, go to face mode, select the faces on antenna that u want to be glowed than just right click on them and do new material, blinn, do what ever colr u want, u should see special effects somewhere down the column, and just play with that bar :attn:

Looks great, love it. I think you need to smooth out your anttenas a little bit though. They have jaggered edges. Either increase the poly count on them or smooth them out. You could even try converting it to subD, to get a nice smooth surface.


There's nothing normal about normals. In FACT i think the are abnormal.
