Joint tool

Is there any way to scale the joint tool down? I'm following Kurt's Low poly tut and the joints keep themselves inside the model, mine are huge and outside the boundaries of the model currently.

Thanks

Under Display menu is Joint Size, as well as IK Handle Size options.
