Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

When will SimplyMaya make a non-painteffects hair tutorial?

Hi,

I have noticed that all this site is about is making cars and the same organic modeling tutorials over and over again. I noticed that is all the males are into. When will the video creaters make something new like a hair tutorial that is different than digital tutor's fur and paint effects hair? Something new?

Or at least something for mel scripting and expressions that anyone can understand.

I mean come on, we can all model. But not many of us can texture nor program well.

Well that is my tutorial suggestion for this site.

That's not true. I am not much of a modeller at all. I need all the modelling tutorials I can get hold of, from as many different sources as I can. I am starting to get a bit more comfortable, but I still need modelling videos.

I agree that a hair tutorial using Shave would be nice (I only have Maya Complete, so Maya Hair videos are totally useless to me).

Cheers,
Malcolm

I'm just now getting into studying about mel and I'm confused and excited by it.

I would love a good tutorial or two on mel!
