This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
I'm pretty new to Maya, and 3D modeling in general, so bear with me, as this problem may be fairly "newb-ish"...
I'm trying to model a square box with smooth curved sides. I decided that in order to get this I would have to use curves and the loft tool--right?
I managed to set up the curves and loft the sections without any hardship. However, upon rendering my work thus far, I noticed, much to my dismay, that the edges to the lofted wall were very low-poly. Here's a picture:
