FUR WONT RENDER

WHEN I APPLY fur to a model, it wont render!
please help

do u mean the model renders wiv no fur or nothing happens ie black screen or crash?


Now at SMU doing BSc 3D Computer Animation so its hard to get on here

just the model renders, but its only in a specific scene, if i make a new scene, fur does work

then i that scene have u changed ne of the render setting for fur as this may cause a problem
also is it well lit

no, i didnt change any settings, except for raytracing... and it is well lit
