Mental ray animation

How do i output a quicktime movie of a mental ray animation?

in ur render globals option box, there's an option to output to quicktime when u select the target format. If u don't have the option, make sure you have QT installed...and on windows you may need to download something else...a codec pack or something...not sure...i know on Mac its pretty much automatic.

u should realy do that as its notalways best quality an if u crash u have to start from the begin

batch render as a traga sequence take to some thing like after effects the export as a qt movie (this way if u crash u just continue to the last frame u were up to)

ps have a look at video mach its free an i think it can convert sequences to qt movies but cheack first if not look on download.com for some other free apps


Now at SMU doing BSc 3D Computer Animation so its hard to get on here
